I have been volunteering with Engineers without Borders (EWB) Orange County professional chapter for a year now and it has been a very rewarding experience. Specifically, I have been supporting two water infrastructure projects, one in El Salvador and one in Honduras.
Every EWB project partners with a local NGO to maximize success and impact of the community projects. For the water project in El Salvador, we are partnering with Enlace, an NGO that supports community projects in El Salvador, Nepal and Guatemala.
Enlace had their annual event last week in Orange County and I was happy to represent EWB at the event.
